Why Navigational Conversations?

Navigating conversations is an essential skill for clinicians, professionals, managers, and leaders. Whether conversations are to move people towards independent problem-solving, to ensure people feel heard and understood, or to provide positive and corrective feedback, every conversation has the potential to build trust and improve the skills and abilities of the person you are speaking with.

This course is 16 hours of interactive, engaging, fun, and practical learning.

Over Four Sessions We Will Cover

  • – The differences between coaching and problem-solving
  • – The principles of effective coaching interactions
  • – When and where to apply the coach approach
  • – How to successfully deliver a 5-step coaching model
  • – Fundamental coaching skills of:
    •      – Conscious Listening
    •      – The Art of the Question
    •      – Productive Ways to Tell
  • – How to successfully provide positive, corrective, and developmental feedback.
