ORA Anti-Racism Policy Statement

Black Network Recommended Resources

The ORA will work to effect positive change in Ontario’s rehabilitation community for Black, Indigenous and other peoples of colour.
Working in collaboration with the ORA’s Black Network and others with lived experience of racism in this sector we will:

  1. Develop and facilitate a better understanding of the issues and barriers in both the business (employment) and service (client care) environments
  2. Locate, develop and share resources and expertise with healthcare providers
  3. Develop allies within our association and externally to strengthen our resources and broaden our reach
